Success - we can post our gift baskets now !
After many weeks of trials and postage testing we can announce that we have successfully developed a secure way of posting the majority of our gift baskets. It has been a challenge. When our gift baskets are tipped up normally the contents would jumble and the weight of the basket would crush the cellophane top and bow.
Our new method involves securing the products inside the basket and part of this includes an additional layer of cellophane over them. This prevents everything from moving or falling out.
Then to stop the basket from crushing itself we insert a wooden rod which keeps everything rigid whilst inside the cardboard box for transit. This can easily be removed upon arrival.
We are very pleased with this and hope that it will make our baby gift baskets more accessible to people who are not local to us.
